We have a flat herd of horses and a couple of cowboys, with their heeler dog, up in sisters.
One of the kids did a Flat Stanley project: Stanley goes to Egypt!
And, we picked enough apples last week to last the winter…for us, and you, and all your friends! At the Howe Orchard in Mitchell!
Where is this? There are several of these around Council Grove. Indians bow shooting buffalo. I love the Flat Stanley reference!
Near Overbrook, on the way from Fieldstone Orchard to Steve McDowell’s mother’s house. I wasn’t driving, so I can’t be more specific.
We picked loads of apples, perhaps enough to last the winter.

This is on the way to my grandmas house! Slash the orchard, where methinks you went with my parents?
Absolutely true. On our way from the orchard to your grandmother’s, where we had tea. I made your dad pull over.

Never heard of Flat Stanley before. Fascinating! And great clouds.
I’ve never seen one of these in my part of the country (northwestern Vermont).
