The asparagus is producing red berries, and I think the plants look a lot like little, ferny Christmas trees. Looks like we'll have an abundant, healthy crop next spring.
I just love these annuals. I throw the seed on the ground in May and they grow and bloom profusely all summer into autumn. I always have a fresh supply of flowers for the house and the butterflies love 'em, too.
We watched this front move in fast last night. Low humidity with 75 cool degrees this morning. Great chance to work outside without sweltering. No rain though.
This is a blurry shot partly because I wasn't quite awake but mainly because this lasted only about 3 minutes tops. I really appreciate the speed at which we are rotating on our axis. And since it is already almost the middle of June, how fast we are revolving through space.
