When I spotted this sign on Peterson Road, I couldn't believe it. Who would steal St. Francis? Lots of bad karma comin' someone's way.

Many Germans stopped and waited respectfully while I took this photo outside the Wittenberg U-Bahn stop in Berlin. Signs of mistakes and victories everywhere. Berlin. A complicated, wise, vibrant city. I loved it! I want to go back.
